Who we are
DoEvent by GARA TECH is operated by GARA TECH, Kigali, Rwanda.
What the service is
DoEvent is managed event planning. You send a request, receive a quotation, approve it, and pay a deposit and balance. GARA TECH staff record payments by Mobile Money, bank transfer, or cash, and coordinate the providers who deliver the event.
Accounts
Provide accurate details when you register. Keep your password private. One person uses each account.
Quotations and payments
A quotation is binding only once you approve it. The deposit and balance are shown in the app. Payments are recorded by GARA TECH staff after the funds are received. Refunds are handled case by case for now.
Cancellations
Rejecting a quotation cancels the request. GARA TECH staff can reopen a request if the rejection was a mistake.
Providers
Providers are independent businesses invited and verified by GARA TECH. They deliver the services you approve in the quotation.
Acceptable use
Use DoEvent only for lawful event planning. Do not submit false information, abuse staff or providers, or attempt to disrupt the service.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, GARA TECH's liability is limited to what is set out in these terms.
Changes to the terms
We may publish a new version of these terms. In the future, the new version will be shown to you at your next sign-in.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda.
